WHOA NOW! Hold on Jono my bro! Our TAG TEAM goes way back man, but youre wrong on that statement, at least when it comes to HBK! He has never had a problem jobbing to nearly ANYONE! Hes jobbed RECENTLY to Umaga (to put him over as being indestructible), and both Edge AND Orton in the past months too. Its VINCE thats putting him over right now. Hed be a moron to not go along for the ride, since pushes that take you to a belt are few and far between in the WWE, especially for the aging wrestlers. Vince wants to keep the DX NAME fresh in the minds of everyone til HHH gets back in action. Its got me PUZZLED as to what the plans for the WWE CHAMP could be...and who it may be once the smoke clears! I really think it will be a 3 or 4 way match with Edge, HBK, Orton, and Cena though. That would SELL SELL SELL!!! Possible scenario: Orton wins, HBK and CENA keep the Tag Titles, and everyones happy, but Edge of course! LOL Likely scenario: HBK wins (with accidental help from Orton or Edge), Cena and HBK drop the tag belts to another team, Orton and Edge fued. I think the fans want to see HBK as champ (minus myself of course). I just think it's time to get new blood in the mix. I really wanted to see Cena vs. Orton for the WWE Title and Batista vs. Ken Kennedy for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania. Cena, Orton, Kennedy, Carlito, Shelton B., CM Punk, Bobby Lashley, & Kenny Dykstra are the future of the WWE. I think Batista & Edge still have a few good years in them but they are older then the guys listed above. Vince has to realize that everyone is tired of John Cena being the WWE champion. Cena needs to turn heel again or do something different. HBK would be something different but I don't see it lasting long since HBK is hurt and won't get any better until he gets some time off. The only problem is I have a feeling HHH will be champ before too long. Boring. I'm sorry Chuck, I used to love HBK and HHH. Used to being the key word. I would offer AJ Styles, Samoe Joe, and a few of those Wrestling Society X guys whatever they wanted to come over to WWE. Let TNA and WSX die. Fire some dead weight on SmackDown!, ECW, and Raw. That will never happen so I guess I'll have to be happy with HBK being the WWE champion until Vince decides to let Randy Orton or HHH or Edge or insert name here be champion. Nothing we can do because Vince is in charge.
