The ASA has updated its non-approved bat list at www.asasoftball.com in the certified equipment section. If you're planning on buying a new bat for the upcoming season, you may want to check this list first. If the bat is manufactured after 2000 and doesn't have an ASA 2000 or 2004 stamp on it, it is probably not legal for use. Bats manufactured prior to 2000 do not have to have the ASA stamp.
