You guys did a great job this season! (We're proud to say that we did beat you, though...  haha) Seriously, from the start of the season I said that you guys had the best team overall in the league, and you proved me to be right. Congrats on the great season, guys and gals...you earned your championship tonight. Also, congrats to Baptist Valley II on second place...you guys are no slouches yourselves! For those who weren't there, the final score was First Assembly 11, Baptist Valley II 9. |

Up comes the man with many many many many words..  hahahaha.. The Championship game tonight was a pretty good game. It was disappointing that Baptist Valley 2 didn't have a full roster of their big hitters though, I would of liked to see both teams with all of their players each out there. Oh well, for only nine players (3 outfielders) Baptist Valley 2 held their own!!! Nothing to be ashamed of guys, you all put up a powerful performance and help the Rank # 1 team to only 11 points even with the handicap of lack of players. First Assembly played a good ball game and got the win, the final score was First Assembly 11 to Baptist Valley 2 9... Very Impressive performance First Assembly. You guys took the regular season championship title and you backed it up with the tournament title in winning fashion, absolutely no losses in the tournament. You guys started the tournament with a (11 - 2) record and finished the season with a (15 - 2) record!!! You don't get much better than that!!! My congrats to the entire team of First Assembly, you guys earned it!!! Now the question is, can you all defend your title next year??? I am looking forward to it!!! |
